We remanufacture turbochargers for passenger cars, vans and trucks. We repair ordinary turbochargers, biturbo turbochargers, turbochargerswith wastegate, turbochargers with electronic controllers, turbochargers with pneumatic controllers.
Tturbocharger reconditioning is carried out using technologically advanced tools and machines. Each turbocharger is thoroughly tested and balanced on a specialised machine, and we enclose the results of these tests in the form of a protocol confirming the full efficiency of the part. We provide a one-year warranty without mileage limit! We also carry out orders by mail order from all over Europe.
The repair process consists of several stages:
1. Initial verification and disassembly of the turbocharger into parts.
2. Assessment of damage and wear of individual components, selection of parts and quotation (at this stage we contact the customer to confirm the cost and time of repair).
3. Cleaning of turbocharger and sandblasting.
4. Replacement of bearings, rings and rotating system.
5. Turbocharger assembly and balancing.
6. Machine test with compression test (test report is enclosed with each turbocharger).
Regeneration of a turbocharger for a passenger car price: PLN 800 gross.
Regeneration of of a truck and biturbo is agreed individually after verification of damage in the first stage of repair.
We also carry out orders by mail order from all over Europe.
The price quoted applies to repair on customer's unit. It is possible to purchase a reconditioned turbocharger - please contact us by phone to determine availability.
In the case of professionally performed reconditioning, using high quality spare parts and in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations manufacturer's recommendations (as we do at Diesel-Partner), the reconditioned turbine can achieve a service life similar to that of a new one.
A reconditioned unit, can last from 100,000 to 200,000 km, and sometimes even more. However, it is worth bearing in mind that these values are indicative and may vary from case to case. Regularly checking the condition of the turbocharger and following the recommended service recommendations are key to maximising its service life after reconditioning.
The way the vehicle is driven and used affects the turbocharger. Aggressive acceleration from low revs and shutting down the engine too quickly after intensive driving can shorten the life of the turbocharger. On the other hand, changing the engine oil and filters regularly, using oil with the specifications, as well as avoiding contaminants in the oil can have a significant impact on the life of a turbocharger.
Decrease in engine power: One of the most obvious signals is a noticeable drop in engine power, especially during acceleration. If the turbocharger is not generating adequate boost, the engine will not be able to reach its full performance.
Unusual sounds: A defective turbocharger may make whistling, squealing or other unusual sounds, especially when increasing engine speed. This is often the result of a leak in the boost system or damage to the turbocharger blades.
Smoke from the exhaust pipe: Excessive smoke, especially of a blue, white or black colour, can indicate a problem with the turbocharger . Blue smoke is particularly worrying as it can mean that oil is entering the combustion chamber through a faulty turbocharger.
Increased oil consumption: Turbochargers require oil for lubrication and cooling. Damage to seals or bearings in the turbo can lead to excessive oil consumption.
Check engine light: Many modern vehicles are equipped with diagnostic systems that can detect a problem with the turbocharger and activate the check engine light on the dashboard.
No boost: If the boost system does not generate any pressure or the pressure is significantly lower than expected, this may be the result of a turbocharger fault.
Check with computer diagnostics: Professional computer diagnostics can detect specific error codes related to turbocharger operation, which can help to confirm the diagnosis.
